Reach Out To Asia launched its new series of Community Impact Days this August. The pilot event, supported by HSBC, was held at Doha's psychiatric hospital. Dozens of volunteers from ROTA and HSBC gathered at the hospital early on Saturday morning, and worked hard all day to make improvements to the building for the patients and staff.

School is now in session for students in Bayat Klaten, Indonesia. Over one hundred ROTA volunteers traveled to Bayat to help prepare the school in April 2007. Now everyone's hard work has paid off. In July, a group of ROTA representatives attended the school's soft opening ceremony and toured the newly finished facilities.

ROTA held a Volunteer Appreciation Night, on May 31, to recognize the achievement of the Indonesian v-Crew. Supporters, family members, and sponsors attended event, showing appreciation for the volunteers' awesome work at ROTA's sponsored school in Bayat Klaten, Indonesia. Thank you v-Crew! We could not do it without you!

Reach Out To Asia team members met on Sunday, May 13th to "Walk the World" alongside other community members in Doha in support of a world without hunger. ROTA partnered in the Doha leg of this global campaign, organized by World Food Program as part of their "fight against hunger".

ROTA's v-Crew from Qatar traveled across the world to help prepare the new school facility on the island of Java, Indonesia. The 141 student-volunteers spent the week sharing experiences with the local students, supporting them, coaching them, and learning from them.

Families turned out in force at Aspire Zone on Saturday, 27th January, for the second Wheels 'n' Heels - Qatar's premier community charity event. Celebrities and sports personalities walked and rode The Fitness Trail alongside the public, to raise funds for ROTA.

ROTA organized its first volunteer trip to Pakistan in April 2006. 65 students from Qatar helped earthquake-affected school children in the Kashmir region of Pakistan. The volunteers helped to make a real difference on the ground, as well as developing their own skills and experience.

ROTA chairperson Sheikha Mayassa and international model Linda Evangelista were among the enthusiastic crowd of people enjoying themselves whilst raising money at the Wheels 'n' Heels 2006 event on the Doha Corniche.

Celebrities, royalty, politicians and business leaders converged at the Ritz-Carlton, Doha for the first Reach Out To Asia Charity Gala Dinner in November 2005. Highlights included an address by Bill Clinton, music from Bryan Adams and a charity auction.
