Georgetown University organizes Jazz concert in support of ROTA's campaign for Lebanon

On the evening of the 22nd of August, a group of talented Jazz musicians performed at the Qatar Academy Auditorium.With a vibrant atmosphere the concert was carried out as an initiative of Georgetown University to raise funds in support of Reach Out To Asia's Lebanon and Palestine campaign.
The campaign, called "ATFALOUNA- OUR CHILDREN"which is officially set to begin on Sunday the 27th in partnership with Al Jazeera Children's Channel, is raising funds to ensure the return of Lebanese and Palestinian children to their schools this academic year. ROTA is also providing relief to 300 displaced families in Lebanon, all in an effort to contribute to the fastresumption of people's ordinary lives.
The concert was well attended and raised 15000 QR. ROTA appreciates the kindness of Georgetown University and the Doha Jazz Quintet band for a great evening of compassion and continues to encourage events of this kind among the community.
